PUSPAK, an organisation of Rifle Factory, Ishapore came into existence in the year 1996 with the aim to provide entertainment to the staff of Rifle Factory by organizing picnic to get rid off from the monotonous day to day work.

 

            The logo theme of PUSPAK is “towards new horizon” which mean in Bengali is “naba digander pathe”.

 

            In the year 2001, PUSPAK staged its first Annual Cultural programme with eminent artists of West Bengal. And still continuing… This year we are going to organize our 6^th Annual Cultural Evening with Raghab Chatterjee and Mousumi Das.

 

            Another feather added to the crown of PUSPAK in the year 2004 when this organization successfully organized a Social Welfare Programme by distributing new dresses to the needy students of various local schools. And in the second year (2005)  we have orgainsed our 2^nd Annual Social Welfare Function to distribute blankets to the needy students of various schools of local area. Why students? Our aim is to encourage the children of needy families of local area to come to school and study thus to develop a good and healthy locality. Education is the white wash of character. We are programming to organise 3rd Social Welfare Programme on 14th Novemeber, 2007 (Children's day).
